The DOC COHEN FRANCHISING SCHOLARSHIP
This program will support the award of a scholarship in the amount of $4,500, including a $500 travel stipend to the IFA Annual Convention. The award will be coordinated with DECA and the IFA Educational Foundation. Harvard Summer Venture in Management Program (SVMP)
The Harvard Business School (HBS) Summer Venture in Management Program (SVMP) is a one-week management training program for rising college seniors (who have completed their junior year of college by June) designed to increase diversity and opportunity in business education. Founded over 30 years ago, this HBS tradition demonstrates the many rewards of an MBA degree to students who may not otherwise have considered this path. Participants spend a week on campus living the MBA student experience – attending classes, analyzing case studies, and debating management issues with peers and faculty.

Business Today’s International Conference, featuring 150 undergraduates from over 35 countries, provides the opportunity to meet over 70 C-Suite executives through keynotes, panels, and executive seminars. Selection is solely based on resume and application/registration
There are NO INTERVIEWS for this program. Students will be evaluated based on these three criteria:
o Resume – Be sure the resume highlights any work experience/internships and campus leadership/involvement. GPA must be on the resume
o GPA – All GPAs are welcomed. The grading scale for the program is based on a points system. The GPA is a part of those points… the higher the better, but all are welcomed

Considering a summer class? Trying to save money on OSU school fees? Transfer credit is one sure way to protect your GPA and save some money. This document shows colleges and universities across the nation that gives you OSU transfer credit. C+ and above at any of these schools earns you transfer credit for Ohio State. However, be sure to aim for the highest grades especially if you are considering GRAD school. Grad schools will look at your ENTIRE college GPA.
