Freshman Year of College Done..Summer 2017 Here We Come!

I have officially concluded my 1st year at The Ohio State University. I am pleased to announce my 2017 summer plans:

- PwC START Internship

- Freshman Global Lab Study Abroad in Hamburg, Germany

- 8 credit hours of summer school.

I also was elected the 2017-18 National Association of Black Accountants Philanthropy Chair. It has been such an exceptional year thanks to all those in my support circle! I am blessed and grateful to have an internship at one of the top accounting firms in the world and to be studying abroad as a freshman!

Lesson: Do NOT be fooled into thinking class ranks determine your eligibility to have a lit freshman year full of incredible opportunities! Freshmen can study abroad, take classes and intern in one summer. It can be done. With that said, do not feel pressured if you are a freshman to do it all so quick. Take your time to enjoy your summers while you still can!
